This might be a lot of information for the average Joe to take in but – if you are in the infertility game you will probably understand what most of these tests are and why they are taken. I wouldn’t normally share such mundane information but I know that women dealing with infertility are looking for information exactly like this. Countless bloggers and Youtube channels have helped me break down test results so I thought if there is even a 1% chance these numbers could help someone that I would share them.
ANTI-MULLERIAN HORMONE LEVEL : NORMAL (UNDER 4)
HEMOGLOBIN A1c LEVEL : 5.4 (MUST BE ABOVE 4 AND UNDER 6 TO BE NORMAL)
BLOOD TYPE : O POSITIVE , UNIVERSAL DONOR
THYROID : 1.4 NORMAL RANGE
So, what does the above information mean? It means that my thyroid is normal, my blood sugars are normal, my blood type is 0 positive and…. I don’t have PCOS like we originally thought and my ovarian reserves are perfect.
This is good news and bad news. It is great that I don’t have PCOS but it still doesn’t explain why I cannot get pregnant / have not gotten pregnant in four years. Now we have to wait for more blood work and Sean’s semen analysis. Hopefully we will know more, soon.
Thanks for joining along!
