3 Ingredient PALEO Fudge Frosting

Fudge frosting? Healthy fudge frosting? Only 3 ingredients? Can it be true? YES!

I was playing around with some frosting recipes because I wanted to top it on some Paleo brownies for our road trip to Texas next month. Payton and I ended up just eating the frosting with a spoon and not even attempting to make the brownies. I’m not ashamed, it was delicious.

I will say, if you aren’t a huge fan of dark chocolate I would sub the maple syrup (we used really dark syrup) for some honey to tone it down a bit.

The frosting turned out deep, dark, fudge-y and addicting. It is what healthy , Paleo dreams are made of.

Paleo Fudge Frosting


  • 3 Tablespoons
    Cacao Powder
  • 3 Tablepoons
    Maple Syrup
  • 1

Cooking Directions

  1. Pit your avocado and scoop out the “guts”
  2. Add cacao powder and maple syrup
  3. Blend until smooth ( I used a big spoon because I was lazy but you could also use a blender of food processor)
