Burger Bar

It’s always hard to have guests over in the middle of the week, especially when you follow Paleo. I find myself overthinking the meal plan for the night. On one hand I want to wow them with an amazing Paleo meal (and maybe convince them to try this lifestyle out) and on the other I want it to be a relatively quick and simple meal.

Yesterday at work after browsing Pinterest and my old recipes, I decided to keep it simple and do a burger bar. It was a total hit and so simple to set up. I made a side of carrot fries and garlic broccoli in the oven and magically the entire meal was finished at the same time (that never happens!). We used paper plates so the clean up was about two seconds.

Here is what I used!

Burgers :

  • Slider size burger patties that were pre-made from organic grass-fed beef (Purchased at Target)
  • 1/2 head lettuce
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 package uncured bacon
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3/4 red onion
  • 1 package mushrooms
  • Dill pickle rounds
  • Sauces (Organic ketchup , Chipotle Mayo, Regular Mayo, Mustard, Dinosaur BBQ , Not Ketchup Tangerine Hatch Chili)
  • Paleo Cloud Bread

Sides :

  • Baked carrot fries (olive oil, paprika and pepper) 400 degrees 35 minutes
  • Baked Broccoli (Avocado oil and garlic) 400 degrees 25-30 minutes depending on what type of broccoli you use

Let me know what you like to put on your burger bar!
